I had a miscarriage and it finished a week ago. i have been lightly bleeding since yesterday and took a pregnant test which was a faint positive. i don't know whether or not i am pregnant but bleeding, having another miscarriage or just on my period.

Confusion: If you had a miscarriage a week ago - the lightly positive pregnancy test may still be from that pregnancy. The longer the pregnancy lasted the longer the pregnancy test might still show a positive. It is variable. The bleeding might be from your period or you might have some irregularity related to hormonal changes.

Re test in a week: Agree with Dr. F If the pregnancy test is positive a week from now, it may indicate retained products of conception and you may need dilatation and curretage. Wish you good health!
