Pectus excavatum: Pectus excavatum is a minor congenital anomaly and rarely harmful. Sometimes it can be a cosmetic issue, but not likely to be the cause of chest pain or breathing difficulty. Discuss with your doctor if you remain concerned, or perhaps bring it up at your next routine medical visit or check-up.
