A member asked:

Is it safe for a woman who is 22 weeks pregnant to visit someone who has been undergoing radiation therapy for cancer treatment?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably yes...: Yes it’s safe for you if the cancer patient doesnt have any other active infections, like strep throat, chicken pox or shingles. And, Yes it’s safe for your friend undergoing cancer treatment as long as you aren’t showing any signs of illness as well.
