Vaginal lesion : I wouldn't suggest going to the ER, I would suggest seeing a gynecologist as soon as possible.

Gynecologist: I think you'd get better care by consulting a gynecologist for diagnosis and treatment. The lump could be from a blocked gland or could be a herpes outbreak which can be treated with medication. The discomfort does suggest some degree of inflammation.
