Had my blood taken for covid 19 antibody test 5 days ago. immediately when needle was put in i felt a sharp electric type pain shoot down my whole arm into my wrist and thumb. now i cant extend my arm without unbearable pain in. what should i do?

Urgent care: One possible causes is that there was a nerve that is inflamed. Any injuries in the past or in the past few weeks should be discussed with a physician. An imaging study may help to rule out a fracture, but from your description nerve inflammation should be considered. If you are recovering from COVID 19, please notify the center prior to entering. Stay home, rest and take ibuprofen for pain.
