I had my second hemorrhoid banding ligation today. during and before the procedure i really had to defecate but i held it in and didnt tell anybody. right after the procedure i defecated and strained. i am fairly sore, could this have caused issue?

Possibly: These are usually internal hemorrhoids that are banded,but lack of rectal bleeding is reassuring that nothing became undone. You could check with the proctologist or colorectal surgeon who performed the procedure for advice and preventative measures.
