Baby: Babies sleep so many hours that the night alone would not be enough. Plus, they require frequent feeding, so they wake up often. And on top, they are slow eaters (they are very smart on this!). So it is ok. Babies sleep only when they feel like. Gradually, they grow up to adjust to a more normal (for adults) pattern.
