A member asked:

Is junel fe 1/20 the same as blisovi fe 1/20? i was told it is and recently got prescribed junel instead of blisovi which i have been taking for almost 3 years. i am sexually active so its kinda making me nervous switching prescriptions

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: They both contain the same same hormones in the same dosage. Different brands of the same pill. The 21 active yellow pills in both, contain 1 mg of norethindrone acetate (progesterone) and 20 mcg of ethinyl estradiol (estrogen). The 7 inactive brown pills contain 75 mg of ferrous fumarate (iron).
