Oral warts uncommon: Presumably you mean genital warts, right? If so: the HPV causing the warts was present for at least a few week and perhaps months before the warts appeared. Assuming you and your husband have been having sex during that time (vaginal, oral or anal), he has already been repeatedly exposed and there's no point in stopping now. Warts rarely appear in the mouth, but he should get care if it happens.
