NGU: NGU is complex and you'll learn more about NGU from various websites that address STDs in more detail than possible on this forum (e.g. CDC or the American Sexual Health Association). Most NGU is an STD, but there are exceptions. The main known causes are chlamydia (30-35%) and Mycoplasma genitalium (~10%). Rare trichomonas and herpes. The specific cause is unknown in roughly half of all cases.
