Why is non-specific urethritis not in the category of the other stis when you go do a full sti/std urine/blood test? is nsu a regular infection, such as an eye infection, or ear infection, etc.?

NGU diagnosis: As discussed last time, the usual terminology is NGU. Asymptomatic cases probably occur, but NGU is probably harmless both for men and their partners if chlamydia is absent. Therefore, standard STD evaluation does not include testing for asymptomatic NGU; it is diagnosed and treated only when symptoms are present. Not sure what you mean by “regular” infection. NGU is an STD, the others are not.
