Thirst: If your thirst is excessive, get tested for diabetes. A rare condition is diabetes insipidus which is best investigated by an endocrinologist. Iron deficiency from menstrual blood loss is another cause of excessive thirst. Certain foods(salty),spices and medications and dry environment are other causes.
