May take 8 weeks: May take 8 weeks or more to regulate after a miscarriage. For a few weeks the pregnancy test will still show positive, the go to negative. IF takes 3 months to regulate, testing for ovulation irregularity may be needed

About that...: If a woman just had a miscarriage or abortion, she is presumed not pregnant anymore. A urine or blood pregnancy test a day later measures a hormone level in the blood, and a high result means a woman is pregnant IF IT IS POSSIBLE for her to be pregnant. The day after an abortion, she is presumed NOT possible to be pregnant. A test done a few days later will show dropped hormone levels.
