After eating half of a cod fish that was cooked in a pan, i found a parasitic worm from the cod that was still moving. now, i am concerned that i may have ingested live parasitic worms or the eggs of the worms. what will happen and what should i do?

Contact your doctor: Watch for diarrhea, abdominal pain, vomiting, or fever. You should have testing of your stool for parasites if you have any of these symptoms. Your doctor may recommend that you be tested now even without these symptoms. Many parasites are killed by cooking thoroughly, but if you saw a live worm, that is more concerning.
