A member asked:

I have a quick question! i left my birth control pills overnight last night in my glove box. it was only one night and it was like probably mid40s- low 50s. not too hot, not freezing. are they safe to take still?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Should be fine: They are still officially effective until the expiration date on the package. Actually, cold may help to preserve medications as we often tell patients to refrigerate pills or capsules that they won't be using until many months later.
