Mixed effects.: Losartan tends to heal the kidneys. Meloxicam is potentially harmful to the kidneys, causes salt retention, hypertension and can therefore cause heart failure. It might be best to avoid nsaids if one can get relief of pain with other medications. In this case, perhaps you could get by without the meloxicam. Discuss this with your doctor.
