Constipation: is hard,infrequent stools,so the first thing is to see if your baby actually has constipation.If the stool is soft,even if it is only every few days,that is normal.Depending on breast feeding or formula intake,stool frequency and consistency can vary.If your child is drinking well and having plenty of wet diapers,no change is probably needed. Please speak to your child's doctor for further advice.
