Yes: People of any race are susceptible to covid infection. African American persons may have a higher risk of serious infection due to higher rates of underlying conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease. Persons of any race can prevent contracting covid by thorough hand washing/santizing, wearing a mask, avoiding contact/crowds, and maintaining optimal sleep, nutrition.

Yes: In some areas of the US a disproportionate number of blacks have both contracted COVID 19 & died from it.
