Not opiods: Opiods like Oxycontin are not the best choice for long term pain management in a young person. That is partly because tolerance can develop over time. The cause of the pain must be treated, sometimes behavioral or physical therapy is important, and other pain drugs can be effective depending on the type of pain.

Pain : Pain is a combination of physical and psychological factors. Maybe it's time to look into psychological ones. Oxycontin alone will not be enough. Everything in life ebbs and flows....So does pain.
