Hi i have an ovarian cyst that was found two months ago during an ultrasound. i was told it looks like a simple cyst. i am peri menopausal and skip periods. will that have an affect on whether or not the cyst goes away?

Just the reverse: Peri menopausal women have irregular ovulation, skipped periods, and prolonged estrogen stimulation. Consequently there is a tendency to form simple ovarian cysts.
