Yes if its been >5yr: Ttetanus vaccine be administered every ten years routinely but if there is an at-risk wound the vaccine should be administered if its been more than 5 yrs since last vaccination. At risk wounds are lacerations to skin or mucous membrane from any object unless the skin was prepared and the object was sterile, and any localized infection. Most tetanus cases occur in older women with ear infections
