Partially: Don't depend on a microwave to kill coronavirus. Heat kills the virus but microwaves heat food irregularly.

COVID 19: The radiation in a microwave doesn't kill COVID 19 but heat can. There are two issues with trying to kill coronaviruses with a microwave- the first is that you are heating for shorter periods of time (length of time matters) & the second is that as stated earlier - heating can be quite uneven. Better to use an oven to kill COVID 19.
