HIV: HIV symptoms can begin as much as 3 days after exposure, but typically occur 7 to 14 days post exposure. For 10 percent of people they get no symptoms. Most though will have symptoms of fever, fatigue, headache, sore throat, swollen lymph glands, short term nausea, muclular aches and pains and rash. Some people can have symptoms for months. Some only a few days.
