Late periods: It's hard to say why, but sometimes we are just late for our period. Even if it's never happened before, it could happen now. Things like medications, stress, travel, changes in your weight, can all cause a late period. I wouldn't worry yet. When it’s safe to do so, see your gyn doc for a check up. S/he might order some hormone tests and maybe an ultrasound.

Maybe: Hi, missing a period can be due to multiple reasons. If one is sexually active and has missed period, a pregnancy test is good to do, if you haven’t already. Sometimes, hormonal imbalances due to medications/stress/nutritional status/underlying medical conditions etc can play a role in the menstrual cycle and can cause a missed period. See your doctor to get evaluated.
