Clarify term, thanks: Mini seizure is not a clinical term. I'm not certain if you mean complex partial seizures. In these seizures, patients appear to "zone out", where they are unarousable. They may have some "clicking" but are not aware and not able to talk. Unlike a grand mal seizure, there is no shaking of the arms and legs and foaming of the mouth. Auras: When a person is unaware of a mini seizure, this can be due to a complex partial seizure or a generalized absenc seizure. These seizures affect levels of consciousness other mini seizures, of which people are aware while happening, are called simple partial seizures. Symptoms of each type of seizure can involve any of the senses as well as the motor system, language system and digestive system.
