What creme?: if you are treating a fungal rash with steroid creme, it will make it worse. If it itches it could be lice, scabies, contact dermatitis. Armpits and groins are moist areas where yeast and other fungi like to live. It is hard to say without seeing it. I recommend you have a professional look at it
