Could be: For a two month old infant, suckling things that are brought to her mouth (especially hands) comes almost instinctively. It's a form of self soothing that they will continue for some time. The best way to tell if your child is getting enough to eat is if their weight is increasing. We expect infants to gain about 1 ounce/day (30 g/day).

Not at all: The divine human design populates the lips with pleasure sensing nerve endings. In a way this assures that the newborn will seek out the breast & suckle to fulfill their desire to satisfy pleasure sensors long before they learn they fill their tummy with the effort. The pleasure seeking does not stop with a full tummy. Adults find pleasure with kissing/smoking in much the same way.
