Two: The number of pregnancy tests is not as important as how far apart they were. It is possible to have a false negative pregnancy test if you are too early on in the pregnancy for it to register. If you think there’s a good chance that you might be pregnant you should wait several days to one week and repeat the test. If it is still negative after a week, it is unlikely that you are pregnant.

Tests are accurate: Pregnancy tests are quite accurate if performed a least one or more days AFTER a missed period & according to package instructions. If you have a negative test it is best to wait 5-7 days & repeat the test if no period. If the test is still negative usually best to call Dr for advice on next step. Stress, thyroid problems, medications, & other things can also cause delayed or missed periods
