May be normal: In the few months before 1st menses a girl will often have a straw colored discharge.If she has progressed through the initial breast enlargement & other features of puberty this may just be an early warning of menses to come. Simple peri care with clear water rinsing can help. Pads may be worth the effort. If it gets stinky or irritating an exam may be needed.
