Is pregnancy harmful in the presence of corona virus?

We don't know : Unfortunately, no one really knows. It's too new and started too soon (December in China). However, being sick with a severe viral infection (Corona or otherwise) can be detrimental in pregnancy because it could put you and the baby at higher risk of complications. Best prevention: strict hygiene and distancing from people.

Still learning.: Recent studies have shown that many women who have come in to deliver & are tested for infection either have had a COVID 19 infection (antibody testing) or they are positive (PCR testing) are asymptomatic. However, some women who are pregnant and have COVID 19 have been seriously ill. More info is needed on this issue.
