Yes-normal: Progestin only birth control pills contain 28 days of active ingredients, resulting frequently in no period. Occasionally, there may be spotting. Combination low dose pills contain 21 active pills and 7 pills without hormones during which you would see bleeding. If you just started the new pack this morning it could take up to 24 hours for the spotting to stop. This is still considered normal.
