Can the coronavirus (covid 19) travel through the wind?

Maybe: One study that I am aware of showed that Covid 19 virus was capable of travelling up to 27 feet, but this is considered very rare. Six feet and you're probably safe, hence the social distancing guidelines.

Some laboratory: studies have shown that the COVID 19 virus can be aerosolized. However, there are specific situations that would allow for this to occur. Also, the concentration of microdroplets is likely to decrease even if they are carried a short distance by wind. I am not aware of any cases of COVID 19 that have been transmitted by the wind.
