Confusion.: You don't say how long it has lasted, and it is hard to sort through the "worsened by," unaffected by," associated with", and "not associated with" statements. But since you say it has persisted through winter, I gather it is lasting several weeks or even months. This sounds like a chronic condition rather than an acute infection and should be looked at by a physician. ?Tuberculosis? Other?
