A member asked:

Could you tell me what happens when you have pelvic inflammatory disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

PID: If you had pid, you may have damaged your fallopian tubes and getting pregnant naturally may be a problem. Therefore, you need to get them checked out before doing anything else. If the tubes are blocked, it may not matter about the other issues as there is a lower chance for getting pregnant. If they are open, then you can get pregnant. Still as you get older, you may need additional help.
