Why am i having more frequent ectopic heartbeat today than usual? ive felt what i perceive to be ectopics at least 7 of them today. is there a reason other than diet and stress why ectopics are greater some days than others?

Ectopy: Other than from anxiety, caffeine,alcohol,nicotine or other stimulants, ectopy can vary from day to day without definite cause. Fortunately you've had only mild ectopic activity. I assume you've had an EKG and outpatient heart monitoring to determine the type and frequency of ectopic beats you experience and whether they occur mostly at rest or with exertion to document that the ectopy is benign.
