My daughter (7) has a fever of 39,7. she was fine yesterday. c/o a sore throat, body-ache, headache and she has been sleepy the most of today. her respiratory rate is about 30 r/min and pulse rate is 120 b/min. what should my next steps be?

Management: Please provide fever control with Ibuprofen for children every 6 hours and/or Tylenol for children every 4 hours. The two medications may be used in combination if necessary to control her fever. Her symptoms may be related to a flu infection, COVID-19 or Strep for example and she should be evaluated. Provide fluids to prevent dehydration.
