What is the mechanism by which hormone levels and mensturation cycles work?

Very cool: Right after menses, the ovaries produce cysts, which make estrogen, which thickens the lining of the uterus (in case u conceive), then once the egg is ovulated, the cyst where it came from produces Progesterone (which keeps early pregnancy alive, in case of conception), if no conception occurs, then the estrogen and Progesterone levels drop which triggers the uterus to shed lining via menstruation.
