Problematic for all: The recommendation to stay at home and to social distance is to break the chain of infection. Your boyfriend's mother seems to be more concerned about herself than anyone else. It would be helpful if your boyfriend can isolate himself from his mother.

COVID 19: Possibly, printing out information about the disease and the need for social distancing (and giving it to her) ? Many people believe input from some politicians that COVID 19 is a hoax. If all else fails, agree that your boyfriend may want to try to social distance from his mother even though they are in the same home.
