GI effects can occur: In a study of COVID 19 positive patients seen at Stanford Health Care from 4 to 24 MAR 2020 – 31.9% reported GI symptoms. 22% reported nausea and vomiting. REF: http://med.stanford.edu/news/all-news/2020/04/stomach-complaints-common-in-covid-19-patients.html. 12% in the study had diarrhea.
