So far no : The early data has surprised us by finding asthma is not listed as a contributing factor to serious cases. Certainly those with uncontrolled or marginally controlled asthma may be sidelined by any respiratory infection. However, the lack of controlled asthma in the mix has been a surprise.

COVID 19: Asthma does NOT place one at increased risk for getting infected with COVID 19. People with moderate to severe asthma (especially if not well - controlled) have an increased risk of a poor out-come with COVID 19.
