Bland diet: You should call his doctor for possible examination, but meanwhile, make sure he is drinking enough fluids to be urinating and have him eat a bland diet. You can treat his fever (if >101) with acetaminophen. Would avoid ibuprofen as that can cause abdominal pain. This may resolve on its own with that home therapy, but certainly follow up with his doctor if not improving.
