Sounds ok: People eat ginger through the world. It's tasty, especially on seafood. The typical amount of ginger that normal healthy people eat in their diets need not change before, during, or after pregnancy. Of course, if a person is eating unusually large amounts of ginger, then nobody knows what, if anything, can happen. Researchers don't spend time studying things like that.
