Doctor can check: If a bump on the face is some sort of larger-than-usual pimple, or deeper than typical, then a primary care doctor or a dermatologist can evaluate to see what needs to be done. If there is infection there, sometimes oral antibiotics are needed. Other causes of bumps on the face include bug bites, accidental bruises, small skin cysts, ingrown hairs, etc...
