Is it possible to contract covid19 from someone who has travelled (flight attendant) that shows no symptoms, within a day? i saw them on thursday evening and have had sore throat, dry cough and headache since friday evening. no fever.

Yes.: Flight attendant can be asymptomatic and still can give you the virus with in a day. Since Covid-19 symptoms are similar to cold and flu symptoms how are you going to find out ? Get tested if it is available to you. If not available self quarantine yourself for 2 weeks and in the mean time call your doctor from your home.
