With covid19 the cdc website now mentions severe chronic disease as a risk factor for poor outcome. is asthma, as an example of a chronic disease, by itself a severe chronic disease or are they referring to, as an example, out of control asthma?

With COVID 19 they talk about underlying disease and co morbities as increased risk factors in death. If you have hypertension that is controlled to normal w/medication and asthma that is controlled w/rare symptoms is this still elevated risk? Thanks
