Bone cancer: Bone cancer can be primary which is rare in adult population. Many bone cancer are actually secondary, i.e. metastasized from other primary cancers such lung, prostate, pancreatic cancers, etc. Some blood cancers such as multiple myeloma can have lytic bone disease presentation. Varies: Most "bone cancer" is actually metastasis from another cancer type (lung, breast). The most common primary bone cancer in adults is osteosarcoma, which relative to other cancers is very rare. Children are affected y different types. Rarely pre-exitisting bone disease such as paget's can transform, but there are not a lot of true risk factors. These tend to be sporadic tumors.
