NO: Actually, the evidence supports the opposite. In general the rural populations do not seem to be having as much problem. I live in a rural area and it is business as usual . Actually getting outside and working seems to be of benefit. This is an observation locally and looking at the "hot spots". Social distancing: Many people who work in meat packing plants have become infected due to lack of social distancing and other protections in their workplace. However, working on a farm, does not increse someones risk of being infected with COVID 19.
