May be: Crying in infants can mean a lot of things (hunger, cold, discomfort etch). It happening once with urination may not necessarily mean pain. Signs of a UTI in small children can include fever, blood in urine, bad smelling urine, pain with urine, holding urine. If you are concerned for a UTI a physician can check urine for signs of infection
