Can a workplace force an employee to get tested for covid-19 if they show symptoms?

Probably not: In the USA, an employee can't forced to be tested. However, an employer probably (I'm not a lawyer) has the right to not allow him to work.

Covid 19: In the US, an employer can require that an employee be tested for COVID 19 before entering the workplace. This is allowed under ADA because if the employee is infected that could cause harm to their co-workers.
