Not very useful: One a day prenatal vitamins contain 100% of the recommended daily dose of vitamins. If the vitamin is water soluble (as most are) it is simply removed through urine if you take more. Fat soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K) can accumulate in the body and cause toxicity. While breast feeding, the only extra vitamin you need is Vitamin D.
